I’m an NYC based performer who loves singing, traveling, and finding amazing thrift stores all over the world! Shopping secondhand is my life. Growing up I was always taught that if I wanted something new I’d have to go buy “new” (new to me) items at the thrift store! And you better believe when I was a little girl, I would take my $5 to the thrift store down the street from my house and I’d buy the weirdest, brightest, and funkiest items I could find. As a kid I often got made fun of for my style choices because they weren’t in the “norm”. But I didn’t care.. I wanted to wear the things that made me feel like the best version of myself. Now as an adult I’ve kept that mentality with me and it has helped me grow tremendously! I started ModMissy because I love thrifting, but I absolutely LOVE shopping for people. I want to show the world that shopping secondhand is better for the environment, as well as, better on your wallet! If you are uncertain about thrift stores, or shopping secondhand ... why not have me do the shopping for you? I’m probably at the thrift store right now anyway!
